Dear Golf Course Patrons & Community Members,

As of October 2, 2011 the Shaw-Nee Slopes Golf Course has permanently closed its doors to evolve the isolated, private use land into a shared landscape that can be enjoyed by a wider range of Calgarians and accommodate a variety of lifestyles.

We at Geo-Energy Enterprises Ltd. recognize that we have a very special piece of land on our hands, encompassing a great amount of history and connection to people. As a result, the concept of Shawnee Park that has been put forth as the future plan for the golf course lands, has been very carefully considered and thoughtfully planned by some of the most esteemed development professionals in Canada. It is our goal to make a living landscape also a livable landscape, provide more accessible open space per resident and preserve a greater percentage of open space per acre than any other suburban development in Calgary. We are not a typical developer; we intend to evolve the lands from its planned interim use as a golf course into its intended final chapter as a sustainable and vibrant residential community that all of Calgary can be proud of.
